Youth Instructional Basketball League
Carolina Courts is happy to announce our first basketball program intended for 6, 7 & 8 year olds just learning the game of basketball. Experienced coaches will lead your child through a series of basketball and motor skill drills designed to build their coordination, speed, basketball skills and confidence. Our winter session is now open for
online registration. The winter session runs from January 3rd, 2009 to February 21st, 2009. The fee is $115 and includes a reversible bobcats ersey AND 2 tickets to a bobcats game in 2009!
Winter Rec Leagues (AKA Winter Basketball Academy)
Carolina Courts is offering a recreational league for kids looking for a good competitive basketball league that will offer strong fundamental work as well. The league will run from 1/11/2009 to 2/22/2009 with a single elimination tournament. This guarantees each player with 7 games with the possibility of two more. Each team will have one practice during the week and have a session on the weekend.Sessions on the weekend will last for 90 minutes in which half the time will be dedicated towards drills to work on fundamental skills. The other half of the session will consist of a game.The games will consist of two 16 minutes halves with certified officials to ensure good, fair play. Cost of the league is $150 per individual and Carolina Courts will have teams for girls and boys 8U to 16U. Each participant will get a reversible bobcats jersey AND 2 tickets to a bocats game in 2009!

Youth Elite Leagues
Looking for more of a challenge than recreation basketball?
THIS IS THE PLACE TO PLAY! In addition to tougher competition, players will have two 90 minute practice during the week. This is
THREE TIMES as much as a typical recreation league!! All games will be on Saturdays at Carolina Courts. The League will start
Janurary 3rd with a tryout for the individual registrants and will end with a double elimination tournament the weekend of
February 21st. You can register as an individual or bring a team. We highly encourage teams from AAU, YBOA, USSSA or any other organization to bring your team here to prepare for the upcoming travel season. Individuals will have an evaluation done on January 3, 2009 to be placed on teams. Also, each participant will be given two tickets to the Bobcats game and a jersey (teams that register will be limited to 10 jerseys).
The
cost per league is as follows:
Individual Registration = $185 (Includes membership for duration of league)
Team Registration = $1,650 (includes membership and practice time for duration of league)
Team Registration WITHOUT practice time or membership option = $675
September 1, 2009 is the date used to determine BOYS eligiblity. Below is the BOYS Eligibility Chart:

* NOTE: The Elite league is different from our Carolina RISE travel program. Each league is independent of the other. Our RISE program does not begin until February and will require tryouts and weekend travel for tournaments. Our Elite League is an inhouse program with all games & practices in our facility.
