Carolina RISE Basketball

What is our RISE Program?   What does RISE stand for?  

RISE stands for Respect, Integrity, Strength & Excellence.  Learning each of these traits, on and off the court, will help develop/mold the character for our kids for their lifetime.   Life lessons, like learning how to win with class & lose with dignity, how to play unselfishly and for something bigger than yourself and learning to give 100% all the time, are what we aim to teach over the season.

Our Carolina RISE program is our travel club program AND inhouse league that will participate in tournaments throughout the season.  While striving to win, the primary focus of our program is player development.  We aim to make all participants better for their upcoming Middle School, High School, or College career.   Everyone planning to play with the Carolina Rise is required to be at a tryout prior to their season. There will be a make-up tryout date for those who have a conflict but we highly recommend you making the assigned tryout date. 2009 Tryout Information (must attend both tryout dates):

      9U (Boys only), 10U & 11U (Boys & Girls)
        Dates: Friday, January 30th & Sunday, February 1st
        
        12U & 13U (Boys & Girls), and 14U (Boys Only) :                                            
        Dates: Friday, February 6th & Sunday, February 8th
        
        14U (Girls Only), 15U & 16U (Boys & Girls)
        Dates: Friday, March 13th & Sunday, March 15th
       
All times of tryouts are from 4-6pm @ Carolina Courts.  * NOTE: The fielding of teams is subject to the availability of quality players and coaches.
