FOP Basketball Training
What is Friends of the Program (FOP)?
Friends Of The Program Basketball (FOP) is the exclusive skill development initiative for Carolina Courts. These development sessions will focus around fundamentals of the game IE: footwork, shooting, passing, defensive principles. Each program will be instructed by one of FOP Basketball's certified instructors.
FOP was founded by Carolina Courts Owner/Operator Anthony George in March of 2020.
FOP will host various skill development programming including:
1) Advanced Group Skill Development Sessions (5-15 Participants)
2) Holiday Clinics (40+ Participants)
3) Small Group Skill Development Sessions (4-8 Participants)
4) Dr. Dish Group Shooting Sessions (3-6 Participants)
5) Back To Basics Beginner Skill Sessions (4-8 Participants)
6) Collegiate/Professional Workouts (Private)
7) Semi-Private Skill Development Session (2-3 Participants)
8) Individual Training with a Master Trainer (1 Participant)

ATTENTION!
Please note that as of July 1, 2023 private, individual training sessions will increase to $75 per session and semi-private sessions will increase to $40 per session. All other rates will remain the same at this time. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Meet The Team
Anthony George
Owner/Founder
Played 4 years collegiately at Belmont-Abbey College. Head Girls Coach at Chestnut Park in Indian Trail, NC. Head Coach of Lady Attack Elite 2023 National, Lady Attack Elite 2025, and CC Elite 2028. Anthony is also Owner/Operator of Carolina Courts.
Ben Tomerlin
Master Trainer
Executive Basketball Director at Carolina Courts. Director of Operations for Carolina R.I.S.E. Head Boys Basketball Coach at Weddington Middle School. Current Head Coach of Carolina Courts Elite 2027 & Carolina Courts Elite 2029, and Attack365 2031. Former Three Sport Varsity Athlete at Providence High School.
Tyler Johnson
Master Trainer
Tyler currently serves as Facility Director at the Concord Carolina Courts facility, while also working as player development coach for Allur Performance.
Tyler serves as the head JV basketball coach at Weddington High school and Current head coach of CC Elite 2024. Tyler graduated from UNC Charlotte, then completed his Masters Degree in Sports Management at East Carolina University.
Ben Phelps
Lead Trainer
-Full time trainer for almost five years
-age range of clients go from six years old to over two dozen pro and college players
-served in a variety of coaching roles as well from coaching 5 years at Covenant Day School, to coaching 5th grade rec league as well as 17U AAU
-44% three point, and 96% free throw shooter over four year college career
-scored 1,300 points in high school varsity career and still hold the record for threes made in a season (96) and threes made in a career (228) at Asheville Christian Academy
