High School Experience:
I grew up in a volleyball family, so I took a liking to the sport at an early age; all my aunts and uncles played at the college level or professionally. I started playing in elementary school, then soon joined a club/travel team where my skills really started to improve and develop. I started on my high school team in Hawaii all four years earning multiple athletic achievements and setting many school records statistically.
I decided to pursue volleyball at the college level and got a scholarship to play all four years at Lees-McRae College as a Libero. After graduating I still play volleyball almost every weekend whether that be grass doubles/triples or indoor. I coached several middle school teams while I was in high school as well as assist our girls varsity high school team
Why I Coach?
I'm glad to be coaching again, especially at CC so I can help pass on my knowledge of the game to the younger generation.
